We had a great time working with Sarah and Michael and their families on their wedding invitation suite and day of stationery for their wedding at the Please Touch Museum! Located in Philadelphia, PA, the Please Touch Museum is quite a unique venue offering couples a fun yet fancy site to host their wedding. Think Alice in Wonderland, the Mad Hatter, and the Statue of Liberty (what?!). When Sarah and her mother met with us, they took immediately to Francesca's unique style and knew that it would be a perfect fit for Sarah and Michael's wedding invitation suite.
They asked Francesca to custom illustrate Sarah and Michael's wedding day avatars on riding on a carousel. This design formed the centerpiece of the invitation which was printed on metallic white paper and mounted into a yellow pocketfold.
The front of the pocketfold featured a monogram card, while the rehearsal dinner invitation, brunch invitation, and RSVP card all carried the Please Touch Museum theme throughout the stationery.
For their day-of stationery, they requested seating cards and a floor plan chart for guests to reference. The focal point of the reception room was the arm of the Statue of Liberty holding the torch. Because they were naming each of their tables after a candy bar, Sarah and Michael wanted guests to have the chart to reference where their table would be.
We had a blast working with Sarah and Michael on their wedding stationery, and we wish them all the best on their new life together!
